Nam Vang noodle soup is a delicious dish combining Chaozhou (China) and Khmer (Cambodia) cuisine, introduced to Southern Vietnam from Cambodian overseas Vietnamese returning home in the 1970s.
Nam Vang noodle soup in Cambodia only has pork, minced meat, young pho served with lettuce and bean sprouts. Hong Phat adds fresh tiger prawns, liver, heart, braised blood and special heirloom broth. Vegetables served with include: ash umbrella, Chinese celery, bean sprouts, chives, lettuce, pickled garlic, fried garlic.
